JACKS POINT

The Jacks Point layout was designed by local course architects John Darby and Partners. The absolutely brilliant result has given them international recognition to this wonderful piece of modern day golf architecture.

After the first couple of holes that lead up the Jack's Point ridge, you are met with the most amazing panorama as the course runs along this elevated ridge top overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. The stunning scenery and tricky layout continue all the way through this marvellous golf course until you get back to the high class clubhouse. On the course there are unparalleled views of the Remarkables Mountain range, Cecil Peak and Lake Wakitipu, making it an outstanding sightseeing day as well as an intriguing round of golf.

The Jacks Point golf course is part of part of a huge but beautifully planned housing community which will eventually include a village centre and holiday accommodation as well as many fine residences. Only 5% of the 3000 acre site is to be built on, so the natural rough beauty of this stunning part of the South Island.
